Profcon Electronics AB keeps on growing – acquires OmiSys AB.
Profcon Electronics AB continues its expansion as the company on December 18th 2012 purchased all stock in Omicron Systems Scandinavia AB (also known as OmiSys). The former owner and majority shareholder had been looking for an external partner to take over the company and the product portfolio fits well into Profcons product line of advanced IT equipment for the industrial marketspace. Omisys will continue its work from Profcons HQ in Farsta with one of the former sales staff to stay onboard to give existing customers the necessary service and support . Profcon Electronics AB will take care of storage of stock, support and shipments from the office/production lines in Nås, Dalarna. Omisys is a fully owned subsidiary to Profcon Electronics AB, which in turn is part of the OJ Group.
